It’s been a long day for the challengers with an arduous nine hour walk to Advanced Base Camp from Intermediate Camp.
They are now at approximately 6,450 metres and the air is half the pressure that we breathe at sea level.
The team will now need to rest and recover their strength whilst they prepare for the next rugby game and World Record Attempt.
Talking from an Ice Field on the way up to ABC at lunchtime, Wooden Spoon, Rugby Manager, Matt Mitchell said: “It’s been really tough but we are pulling together as a team and helping each other through. The views are breath taking”
